Poas Volcano Lodge Vara Blanca , Vara Blanca (Heredia)

My stay at this hotel was simply wonderful! The rooms, set in a separate building with woodfire ovens, offered a fantastic view of the mountain and were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. I loved having a balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds and surrounding countryside. The service was exceptional, engaging in conversation and greeting us with genuine warmth and friendliness. They went above and beyond to arrange transport for us. The location, nestled in the Costa Rican mountains near Volcan Poas and surrounded by farmlands and strawberry fields, was absolutely breathtaking. The dining experience was delightful, with self-made roasted granola, high-quality milk products, and fresh juice. Although the breakfast service could be quicker, it was delicious overall. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay truly memorable.

I stayed in an outbuilding but had all the amenities in the main building. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, though a bit smaller than expected.
